Fill out the short two-step form on our Launch List page. It takes under a minute: your first name, email, county or ZIP code, and what you expect to need notarized.
We'll send occasional updates as our launch approaches, including preparation tips and information about which documents may be eligible online. When online appointments open, you'll get an email with priority booking information. You can unsubscribe at any time.
We'll open online appointments as soon as we can offer them on a licensed platform. We can't give a firm date yet. Join the Launch List and we'll email you when appointments open.
Yes. North Carolina law authorizes remote electronic notarization, where the signer and a commissioned North Carolina notary meet over live audio-video. It must be performed on a platform licensed by the North Carolina Department of the Secretary of State. That licensing process is underway, which is why our online service is launching soon rather than open today.
Many common documents may be eligible, including many powers of attorney, affidavits, business documents, and consent forms. Eligibility depends on the specific document and North Carolina law, and the person receiving your document may have their own requirements. We confirm eligibility during review, before you pay. Our fees are per notarized signature: $25 for remote online notarization (launching soon), $15 for in-person electronic notarization (coming soon), and $10 for traditional paper notarization. Mobile appointments are $10 per notarized signature plus a travel fee that we disclose and you agree to in writing before we travel. See pricing
