What counts as a notarized signature, how travel works, and when you pay.

Per notarized signature
Fees are charged for each signature the notary notarizes. If two people sign one document, that's two notarized signatures. A document with one signer and two notarized signatures also counts as two.
Mobile travel
Mobile appointments include a fee for actual round-trip travel, as North Carolina law permits. We tell you the amount and get your written agreement before we travel. No agreement, no travel fee.
When you pay
For online appointments, you pay after your documents pass our review and before your session. For mobile appointments, we confirm how and when to pay when we confirm your appointment.
What fees don't cover
Notaries can't give legal advice or prepare documents, and we don't charge for either. For legal questions, please consult a North Carolina attorney.
Our fees are per notarized signature: $25 for remote online notarization (launching soon), $15 for in-person electronic notarization (coming soon), and $10 for traditional paper notarization. Mobile appointments are $10 per notarized signature plus a travel fee that we disclose and you agree to in writing before we travel. See pricing

A missing page, a missing signature block, or a signer who can't attend can stop a notarization. Reviewing first lets you fix those issues before you pay or schedule. Our review is about notarization readiness only. It isn't legal advice.
